Nine Peaks Farm

Nine Peaks Farm is our little oasis in the North Georgia Mountains. We have been here for five years after spending many years in the Atlanta area. It is a welcome respite from the city. We thought we would miss the big city markets and restaurants, but, we really don't. The land here is fertile and the area boasts many delectables that we will be sharing with you. The farm is nestled in a mountain valley around 2000 feet in elevation. The garden has gotten bigger each year and this year promises to be the best. My plan with this blog (and this is my first blog of any kind) is to update progress at the farm as well as fill you in on what we are doing with all this food. You will hear about recipes, garden techniques, food preservation, and any other food related topics that may come to mind. Mostly you will here about our food and locally grown food, but sometimes we will throw in the odd ethnic ingredient from a faraway place. Sit back and enjoy as we begin our journey.
